I first came to Yoga six years ago as part of marathon training and fell in love with the physical, mental and emotional effects. As a naturally stiff person, Yoga had previously felt intimidating and I was lucky to find a BWY teacher who made it accessible and enjoyable for all. I learned more about the history and philosophy of Yoga while studying the BWY Foundation course, and am currently continuing my studies with the BWY Diploma. This extremely comprehensive course enables me to teach Yoga safely and inclusively, encouraging students to develop autonomy in personal practice.
I am passionate about making Yoga relevant for everyone, with particular focus on promoting and maintaining good posture and counteracting the effects of our sedentary lifestyle.
